H-A Post 150: A Review of Important Messages

This is the 150th post of Health-Actualization.  Instead of putting out new thoughts for this post, I would like to give you the opportunity to review some of my older thoughts.  Before I do that, I would like to thank all of you who read Health-Actualization, from the subscribers to the casual followers.  I really enjoy writing these posts, doing the research for them, and the interactions with followers who I probably wouldn't have connected with if not for H-A.  Even though I have posted 150 entries based on research review, books, conversations, professional experiences, and personal observations, I think my best ideas and posts are yet to come.  Thank you again.  I look forward to continuing this relationship for a long time.

As for this post, below are a few links from past H-A posts.  I consider these posts to be some of my most important.  They are not necessarily the most popular, did not draw the most feedback, and are not the most scientific.  These posts are just the ones that I would want you to read had you just found H-A for the first time.  Enjoy:

  1. Diet Outliers: eating healthy probably draws attention and criticism from others in social atmospheres.  Diet Outliers talks about my experiences and why you should continue to be different from the pack when it comes to eating.
  2. Lipid Lies: The Story of "High" Cholesterol: it's common knowledge that eating fat and cholesterol causes heart disease...but is that really true?  Is there credible science to support this?
  3. Strength Training: The Only Necessary Method of Exercise: if you don't strength train, this post will tell you why you should.
  4. The World's First Diet Book: I break down the diet discussed in the first diet book, published in 1869.  It's advice that is still effectively used today.
